The Woodshed at Home Farm offers holiday accommodation in a stylishly converted steel-framed barn, set in nearly 10 hectares of natural pasture and woodland. Situated on high ground, it has sweeping views of East Hampshire's wooded hills (the Hangers), within the South Downs National Park. Rooms are contemporary, comfortable and designed with a keen eye to detail. Through the wide glazed doors of the large kitchen/living room you can spot wildlife... step outside and relax in a pastoral setting.
The Woodshed is in an ideal location between London and the coast - the local area is packed with interest. We welcome all visitors and can make special provision for families with young children, cyclists and walkers.
An efficient woodburning stove provides room heating with logs supplied from our woodland. From conception through to completion, the Woodshed was made as sustainable as possible and was given a gold award from a 'green tourism' business scheme in 2011.
Richard Elderton teaches a variety of woodworking skills at Home Farm and welcomes bookings for accommodation combined with woodwork tuition (separate charges apply).
