Rosewood veneered sideboard. Repair to crack in top (caused by shrinkage when fixed to non-shrinking under-frame). New under-frame made with fixings to accommodate seasonal movement of top. Drawer frame re-glued and new sweet-chestnut drawer bottom fitted. French polish finish restored. HFW Aug 04.
